Matt, your music and lyrics have done so much to help my now 14 year old son over the last 4 years and I hope that one day I have the chance to thank you in person for it. When COVID lockdown started things got pretty dark in our house but he’s bouncing back more and more every day and his guitar has been a critical in helping him cope with starting high school and all the other challenges that many teens face. We took him to his first Trivium show in 2022 and we’ll be going to MANY MORE! He even converted me, a 20+ year hardcore industrial fan 😜

Great story, but I have a question. If god is so loving, why did he create a food chain where so many innocent animals suffer and shred each other to pieces? If there is a god, he has a lot of explaining to do. The whole Bible story beginning with Adam and the eve is stupid too. We live in a world of sin because Eve ate an apple? And a group of people lived in a whales stomach for several days? The stories are f ing stupid

I'm recovered too (13 years) and I can relate to so much of what you shared. (Which is funny for someone who finds it specially difficult to relate to people's experiences). I left the mainstream. In my country drugs are just part of the issue. But now, what I play and post (like you mentioned: jumping and laughing like a 5 year old), gives me the hope and joy to let others know, there is a different way... Not just chemical wise, but... also inner healing-vibrating wise. With out competitions etc etc ... Just pureness and joy. Thank you for what you're doing. God bless.

I thank Metal music itself for being me. I used to have thoughts that I don't want to talk about it, and I don't write it out with rights in mind. The drink can tempt and drug addiction too. I am 31 years old. I felt guilty about being alive. I have bipolar depression and schizo-affective disorder, the root of which I now know, and with normal therapy I can live a carefree and happy life. 😊

i was so depressed 2 years ago. i almost took my life. my friend showed me this video and that one quote really stuck with me through the darkest of days. "theres always light at the end of the tunnel". thankyou corey, you've got me through the roughest part of my life and it wouldnt be a stretch to say you are the reason im still here today and probably a reason for many others too. real inspirational figure.

My story exactly. I sent the Canadian gov't an email today hopefully opening their eyes to how they demonize abused children with their jails and prisons when they should be, instead, helping them out and teaching them the things about life and setting an example of how their supposed to behave. Things their parents/caregivers never did as in the perfect example of Canadian gov't did to and continues to this day to the First Nations people and those residential schools(denying them their disability cheques).

fyi. i believe being labeled and another person trying to tell you that yiu have a condition is for political reasons for those statustics for that decade for that demographic for that geigraphical area and what your told from what been documented. see statements written of your account. doubt theyll match what the emotional and energetic qualities you have and create and express. each person speaks for themselfs. dont believe chinese whisphers. dont suppoort speaking badly behind someones back and an unfair fight. still alot of work to be done on changing "the history of the future".

As a survivor myself I love to hear Aaron share his story! Aarin is an incredible human with a beautiful heart! This man cares about you…. This is not just a facade! He has personally been a huge blessing to my family! From taking time in 2017 to sit and hang out with my 30 year old nephew in a wheelchair dying of ALS in Raleigh, NC and then him remembering that moment when we went to see them again! Little did I know in 2017 that that second time Their music would mean more to me than ever before because now, I too, am a survivor!
